I want to run Event Espresso on WordPress 2.9.2, will that work? If not, are there any workarounds you can suggest?

One idea I had would be to manually patch my version of WordPress that’s been heavily customized with the newer functions that are in the newer versions of WordPress. Can you guys give me a list of all the newer WP functions that Event Espresso uses? Thanks!

You know what? I think I’m going to abandon this whole life as a Honey Badger routine and move my WP core edits into a little plugin. Thanks for nothing!

Well Dude, if you’re running Event Espresso 3, the latest bug fix version we released was entirely for fixing a security issue with the iCal feature. So the only changes that were made happened in includes/functions/ical.php.

Hi Dude,

Does the information about the iCal fix and where it’s located help?
