I need to move a current Event Espresso install to a new design and build of the website, can someone provide a step by step approach to how this can be accomplished? The registration is currently here: http://www.classacts.cz/?page_id=2228

Hello,

This information for Event Espresso is stored in the database so we recommend using a plugin like WP Migrate DB Pro or BackupBuddy to migrate your site to a new domain.

You can then request to have your key reset from your account page.

Hi there, would you be able to include some simple migration steps for the inexperienced? Thanks

Hi there,

Here are WordPress’ instructions for moving a site. There isn’t really a “simple” way to do it, but this should help:

Actually, all that needs to be migrated is the Event Espresso. Can you provide a guide for moving Event Espresso from one WordPress install to another? Thanks.

Hi,

Event Espresso 3 information is stored in native WordPress tables as well as its own events_ tables in the WordPress database. You would need both for the migration to work.

The WP Migrate DB Pro plugin will allow you to move select tables instead of all of them. If this isn’t something that you are comfortable doing, then please check with a developer here:
