I have followed instructions to make a package deal where price is reduced if you purchase 4 sessions at the event. When the receipt, notifications, and emails come out it lists the name of the bundle Ticket, and underneath the date-time of the sessions. Each session has a name and can be purchased separately. Is there a way I can get notificatons and email confirmations to list the session names instead of the datetimes. I am limited in my ability to write my own shortcodes or changing code in the system. |

I tried to edit the message template but i do not know the shortcode to replace the datetimes with the session names. |
Hi, Can you explain or share a link to a screenshot of the editor field that you’re using for a “bundled session name”? |

Dear Josh, This url shows the event where it shows the bundle Early conference package and late conference package. You have passcodes from the earlier post I made on a different issue. As I mentioned, I can’t go into WP and change code. However, I could go into the messages and change the short codes somewhere if I knew where to put them and which short codes to replace. I should mention that I have to unplug the plugin tonight and reinstall it because of the fail update issue and to get rid of all the practice runs we had to make. I was hoping we could figure out what to do so I can do it for the new install tonight. |

There’s no lag in the time after we reply here, and we’ve found that emails get bounced so we can follow up with you here. I can help you get this sorted out, but what I really need to know is where you’re inputting the “bundled session name”? If you can answer that question, I can point you to the correct shortcode. |

I have now only one event, called “New Forum” In the Event datetime section It seems to work because when you select the Conferences package the receipt prints out “Early Registration with Conference Package” and underneath it, it prints out the dates and times of the Fri dinner, the Sat Lunch, and the Sat Banquet and the ticket prints out their names. What I wanted to do was have it print the names on the receipt so the people knew they had that included. As a work around, I have made a table on my page that gives directions how they can see it now. It would be so much more professional if I could just have the names instead of the datetimes. I thought if I knew the short codes for the ticket names, I could put those in the message spots that have the datetimes. I didn’t test the late package because it is not on sale yet. But I thought the process would be the same. I am going to go in now and open them up for sale while I am waiting for your response. I hope that explains it. If you need more clarification, please let me know. The page comes up when you use fssdar.org/CAC/ |

I’m sorry I still haven’t gotten a clear answer about where you’re inputting these bundled session names. Instead of asking, I’ll try to advise instead: What you can do is give each datetime a name. So for example, you can input “Friday Dinner” for the name of the datetime that starts at September 20, 2019 5:30 pm. Maybe you’ve already done this. If you have, then go to step 2: Then, you go to Event Espresso > Messages > Default Message Templates > Receipt and scroll down to the section “[DATETIME_LIST] *: ” There you’ll likely find this: Then you click Save. |
