I’m setting up my first event for a client, and realised that in the “Payment Options” when registering for an event, only US and Canada showed up as dropdown options. So I searched around for a solution and found this on the forum: https://eventespresso.com/topic/enable-all-countries/#post-319838 which allowed me to enable all countries, but what I’ve noticed is that it does not enable their associated states.
As an example, I selected Australia, and the “States” dropdown was empty. I had to go to EE General Settings and enable the States for Australia.
Though my client’s event is available internationally, and all states from every country should be available for selection.
Go to EE Dashboard -> General Setting -> Countries
When you select a country and enable it EE pulls in all of its states then click “Save Country Details” button this will allow the users to select that country and its state.
Hi Rio,
Thanks for your response.
Just confirming, there is no way to enable all states for every country in one go?
I would have to go through every country one by one in the backend?
My apologies, that’s me completely misreading your reply!
Yes, you will need to load the country within the admin for EE to populate the states, on the fly for that country.
