Found another KB that seemed to say delete the payment THEN the registration, also no-go. Seems so simple…yet the registrations are locked so I can’t Trash them (BTW, the pulldown says TRASH Registrations, all the docs I’ve seen say DELETE).
One of the registratins was paid, so I refunded the payment and I can see that in the transaction details, yet it’s still locked. Others never made it to approved status, and they are locked. Gimme a break, guys!
Second issue in two days with deleting/trashing something….. Customers love using it – good thing, otherwise the Admin (me) would be looking for a new product.
So have you deleted the payments within the transaction, or refunded the original payment, meaning there are now 2 ‘payments’ assigned to the transaction?
You can not delete a registration if the transaction has ‘payments’ assigned to it, regardless if they are payments or refunds. So if the transaction looks like this – http://take.ms/8wrf0
Ok, that worked. However – holy cow, what a convoluted process, with no way I could see for the poor Admin who doesn’t do this every day to be guided thru it. Not a good UX.
Yes it’s not a simple process, and it could be streamlined, so thanks for your feedback. It wasn’t meant to be seen as complex, but rather to have checks at every step so there were no accidental deletions.
