My client’s registration process is usually like this: The school will pay for several attendees to a conference. Say, 13 attendees to be paid with one check (or PayPal). Each attendee has a member number and they get a free t-shirt (they need a radio button to select their size) and “ribbons” for their name badge. (we need checkboxes to select one or more ribbons. So wee need something like this for each attendee:
Name: John Doe, Membership number 12345 Tshirt size: XL Ribbons: Director, Board Member, SNS
I just tested the form and I’m getting the same name for all recipients.

So starting with this, for EE to generate separate registrants it needs to collect the First Name, Last Name (optional) and Email Address from within the Personal Information question group for all registrants.

For this go to Event Espresso -> Registration Form -> Questions.
Create 2 custom questions for the above there.
Then go to the Qusiton Groups tabm create a custom question group and select those 2 questions. Save.
Edit the event again and select your custom Question group on both the Primary And Additional Registrants.
