How can I suppress the comment area on the event description page?

When a user clicks on an event, the details are shown and there are fields for comments, name, address, etc. I wish to suppress that feature. How can I do that?

Hi there,

That’s not a part of Event Espresso, its from WP and your theme.

You can disable the comments within the ‘discussion’ section per event – http://take.ms/Y1No4
(if you don’t see it check the screen options at the top of the page and make sure ‘discussion’ is enabled)

Of you can disable them site wide within Settings > Discussion and disable comments for new articles.
