Just like it says in the subject, the users want to see old data removed from their excel reports. Event is deleted but it and its attendees are still in the generated reports.
Removing the attendees seems quite easy, but the event is altogether another issue. Its not transparent how this is actually stored.
With EE3 when you initially delete an event you actually soft delete it (it makes the event with a status of deleted)
If you set the status filter to deleted and click ‘Filter Status’ – http://take.ms/vIJNB
You should see the event there.
To remove the registrations for the event you’ll need to click the attendee list from that section, then select and delete all of the registrations within the event – http://take.ms/rkkdR
To permanently delete the event you can click the checkbox next to it and select ‘Permanently Delete Event(s)’
Note that when you delete them from that page you actually delete them from the database, you can not restore the data after you have deleted it from the database.
