How Can I Change the Event Author for ALL events?

My website designer installed Event Espresso for me, but used his own e-mail address. Now I can’t seem to get registration confirmations to come to me, instead of to him. I’ve made sure that my Event Espresso – General Settings – is set to my e-mail address. And I’m the one who created the events. However, his e-mail shows as the author of the events, and I can’t find where to add mine. The poor guy is getting our e-mail confirmations of events! Help!

Hi there,

By default EE uses the Event Author email address for the event admin emails. This would be the email address of the user account set as the author.

So if you created the events using your own account does that account have the correct email address? You can check by viewing you profile from the admin bar top right.

You have a few different of options, change the event author of the events to the correct account, change the email address of the user account that all of the events are set to, or finally change the email address that all of the default event admin message template use and set it to use [CO_EMAIL] which parses to the address set in general settings.
