Hi, We need to enable a parent to register to two children for the same class in the same transaction in EE3. I searched the support forums and it looks like this is an option based on this thread: https://eventespresso.com/topic/questions-about-event-espressos-capabilities/ Just trying to figure out how to do it… We were able to successfully register two DIFFERENT children to two DIFFERENT classes in one transaction with no problem. You just add several items to your cart, fill out reg form and make payment. However when we try to register two DIFFERENT students for the SAME class in one transaction we aren’t able to do it. We are given the pull down option to enter quantity however there is only one set of questions vs. two. To test this we set up an event (test 2) and updated settings to enable group registration. Go to: http://arsenalarts.org/search-classes/ type in test, hit return, then add “test 2” to cart. Update the pull down to 2. Is there something that we are missing? Also, curious if there is a setting that automatically shows the “add to cart” button on the event description page vs. only on search results? As of now if a user clicks through to the event description page they see the registration form and proceed from there directly to payment vs. adding to cart first so they can continue shopping. 1) Kimberly — To get registration data from secondary attendees, you need open that event, find the “Questions for Additional Registrants” (which is one of the small boxes on the right), and check some boxes. As you work with this, you’ll probably want to rearrange your question groups EE settings > Registration Form. 2) I don’t know the answer to your add-to-cart question, as I’m on EE4. I love the way it looks, however, and would like to ask the mods when this functionality will be coming to EE4? |

Actually I just had a flashback to when I had EE3. I think the questions settings were in a menu called Question Groups. They are there somewhere…. 😛 |

Beautiful!! That worked. It’s actually “Additional Attendee Registration info?” in the right hand nav bar. I will leave this support ticket open to see if I can get an answer on how to get the add to cart button to show up on the event description page vs. just on search results. Thanks, |
