Hello !
We are trying a hosted wordpress with bluehost. I installed the Event Espresso Check plugin, and it gave some warnings, but otherwise it passed. I am able to install eventespresso, and the admin part works fine. But when I try to access the event link, it is not working. It gives 404.
I tried talking to bluehost folks, and they say that I have to talk to plugin-vendor .. ?

Hi Amit,
Usually this can be fixed by visiting the WP > Settings > Permalinks page.
If that doesn’t fix the issue, there may be another plugin or the theme has registered an “event” custom post type, resulting in a conflict of the “events” route. This can be avoided by going to Event Espresso > Events > Templates and changing what’s set for the Event Slug option. For example you could change the event slug option to be upcoming-events.
