Hi there – I tried adding this to my my child theme but no luck. Any suggestions?

Woops found the answer – Actually all I needed to do is deactivate that option in the payment settings.

Hi there,
Just to note for any future readers of this thread you can remove the Invoice payment option from the front end of the site by navigating go to:
Event Espresso -> Payment Methods -> Invoice.
Within the settings you will find the ‘Usable From’ option – http://take.ms/KtmTV
Un-check ‘Front-end Registration Page’ and save the settings.
That will remove the invoice payment options from the selection available but leaves Invoices enabled within Event Espresso.
