I manage a site for an EE Everything subscriber that uses the People Add-On. The add-on is great, but we’ve run into an issue.
The event list generated by shortcode displays all of the people bios and there is not an option to exclude people on the event template page.
The people end up taking up a significant amount of space that isn’t practical on the event list.
How can we hide the people from the event lists, but keep them on the single event page?

Hello,
If you are on the events listing page, then you should see the people in a list (e.g. a list of names), rather than the entire bio.
Could you share a link to the page that you are referring to?

Hi Lorenzo,

The shortcode used is simply:
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=”workshop”]
If people are assigned to the event, they are pulled using the shortcode. The event template lets you reorder the people, but doesn’t have an option to remove them from the event list.

You can use this line of CSS to hide that information on that page:
.espresso_event_categories-workshop .eea-people-addon-event-people-list-single { display: none; }

Hi Lorenzo,
That seems like it should work, but adding it to the active child theme’s stylesheet doesn’t change anything. Does this have to be added within the add-on stylesheet?
