Hello,

We have several events that span several months. Once an event has passed it’s start date, it is effectively “expired” to us for all practical purposes. It is important for us to retain the use of “Event End” dates as they are relevant to our users, but we need for events that are past the “Event Start” date to no longer appear in our archives.

Is there a way that I can make it so that events past the “Event Start” date no longer appear in our archives?

Thank you

Tony

Hi there,

Just to confirm, by archives you mean on the front end?

If so you can use this snippet:

Tony,

Yes, that was exactly what I was looking for. I added this to my child theme’s functions.php and it’s working exactly as desired.

Thanks for your help!
