People’s telephone number is an input in the People admin form. The phone number is then hidden with CSS not to be displayed in my website people’s public view. Nevertheless, Google has indexed people’s phone numbers and I have received some complains from people as a security leak.
My question is: How can I hide people’s phone number to Google index?
You’ll actually need to remove the information from the html template. In this case, it sounds like you’re using the Januas theme to display this information (the Event Espresso people add-on does not display phone numbers). You can contact Showthemes for specific direction on how to edit the Januas theme templates, or instead of using the “Qualification” custom field to store a phone number, add a “Phone number” custom field to store phone numbers.
