Hi, I am trying to figure out whether the datetime feature will work with the ticketing setup we want to use.
We are selling tickets for 15-minute appointments. There is only one ticket available for each time slot. We want attendees to be able to select their time slot when they buy their ticket.
Also, there are two ticket pricing options to choose from. So, this is the setup we need:
Ticket option 1: $50
Ticket option 2: $100
Meeting times available are:
10:00 to 10:15
10:20 to 10:35
10:40 to 10:55
11:00 to 11:15
11:20 to 11:35
11:40 to 11:55
An attendee will first choose ticket option 1 or 2. Then they will choose their time slot. Then they check out.
You would need 2 tickets per datetime, each ticket only assigned to the relevant datetime. The user then selects the correct ticket for the correct date and proceeds with the registration.
So you’d have 6 datetimes for the example above, each with a way of 1.
Then 12 tickets (2 per datetime) and the ticket names would be the time slot the ticket is for. With EE you can’t have a ticket for x price and then on the next step select the date time it applies to, the ticket is assigned to a specific datetime so they select the ticket they gives them access to the datetime they want.
Will that work for you?
I can post more details on how to set the tickets up of needed?
Thanks for your help! Sorry for any confusion. I worked it out, so you can close out this thread. Thanks again!
