We are using Paypal express as our processor. Currently, our users’ checkout works like this:
1) Click Register Button
2) Go to Registration Checkout Step 1 “Attendee Information”
3) Go to Registration Checkout Step 2 “Payment Options”
4) Select “Paypal” radio button even though it’s the only payment option
5) Click “Proceed to Finalize Registration” and go to external Paypal site for payment processing.
How can I reduce the number of steps?
Is it possible to eliminate the “Payment options” page completely since there is only 1 option?
Is there a payment processor that works without leaving my site?

Hi,
Step 4 is easily removed by setting PayPal Express to “Open by Default”. You’ll find that setting in Event Espresso > Payment Methods > PayPal Express.
With regards to a payment Processor that doesn’t involve leaving your site, you could look at Stripe. If you want to use your PayPal account there’s also the PayPal Express with Smart buttons gateway which basically pulls in PayPal Express into a modal so the user doesn’t leave your site.
