OK, so this is odd. I added the Table View add-on yesterday, putting the shortcode on my “events” page, changing my slug to “event” so I could do that.

And this morning I went to go to an event reg page and all of them have this on the single event registration page… meaning NO registrations are possible until this gets fixed.

The only other change I made yesterday was killing The Events Calendar (and their Pro add-on)

I flushed all the cache, made no difference. There’s nothing relevant in the error log.

Whatchagot for me? 🙂

Hi Adam,

You’ll need to use a different slug. “event” is the singular slug for “events” and will cause the error you’re seeing.

Ah, thanks. What do other people use? Like what’s common?

It really depends on the use case. It’s common to see “classes” or “trips”, but those only make sense if the site is for class registrations or trip registrations.

Any of the following will work as long as you don’t have an existing post slug that matches the slug:
upcoming-events
registration
our-events
event-schedule

OK, thanks. Got it going again, went with “gatherings”

All fixed, close this down, amen and hallelujah. Pass the Jack.
