I have one EE site license for our comedy club in Houston, TX: http://www.JokeJointComedyShowcase.com. I am currently moving our other club’s web site to WordPress and EventEspresso. I’m working on it in a domain called http://www.JokeJointTemp.com. I would like to get it up and operational, then move it to JokeJointComedyClub.com. I think I only need TWO licenses because I’ll only have TWO sites operating EE at once. But will I be able to move the EE license from JokeJointTemp to JokeJointComedyClub.com when I am ready to finally make the move? Also, Should I get the multi-site license for only two sites? It looks like the EE4 BETA license is less expensive than the current 3 license? Is that true? Thanks! Ken Reed |
Hi Ken, How are you today? If you’re going to use EE3 then you will need that support license, the EE4 license does not provide support for EE3 (but the EE3 license does offer support for EE4). The same goes for whether you’re going to use the add-ons in the Business License or just the Personal License. However, if you do purchase a second Business License on your account I can add another Business License license key to your account but it will have the same expiration date as your current one. We recommend creating a separate account for the second license key but I can help you keep them on the same account if you’re purchasing the same package as you have now. We can reset your second license key so that it can be reassigned to the new domain once that’s ready. Just request that reset from your Account page once you’re ready. |

Garth, You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now. I also get this warning: There is an automatic update for Espresso Price Modifier Pr available but your Site License Key is invalid. Either you have entered the wrong key on the Event Espresso General Settings page (EE3+ users) or Your Organization Settings page (EE4+ users) OR you no longer have access to the updates for this plugin. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now. Can you merge the accounts to JOKEJOINT? Will that solve these problems? Thanks for your help, Ken Reed |
Hi Ken, I’ve released your support license key. Please try to update again. For merging accounts, please contact the following email so we can verify some information privately: sales [at] eventespresso.com Thank you. — |
