We need this function: 1. After user complete his registrion, he gets email with link to approve his registrion, after he click his registrion is approved.. Sounds simply but wery hard to set that with eesspreso 4 We dont wanna admin to approve every attened. Users must do by itself. 2. We are non-profit organization and we always have free events. So we realy dont wanna even use word FREE TICKET, totally out of place. 3. How to add inside forms ( add more attended ). 4. How to create two forms for one event. For example for drivers and speakers. |
Hi there
That’s not simple as it’s not something Event Espresso currently has available, this would require custom coding from a developer.
Can I ask why can you not using Pending Payment for this setup?
It’s possible to hide this within some areas of Event Espresso with CSS but it depends how you want it to look. If you link me to one of you’re events I can provide some CSS that will hide the output for you.
To have a form display for each ticket selected you need to enable a question group for ‘additional registrants’ within the event, it’s the bottom section show within these settings – http://take.ms/1CBvc
Are drivers and speakers different tickets? Registration questions are assigned per event, you can not current request different questions based on the ticket selected. We have some documentation on how to add additional question groups (containting various questions) to the event here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/add-questions-event-espresso-question-groups/ |

We have free ticket 0$, when i set pending paymnet it is instantly approve registration.. Now i spended second day on this (for me) simple functionality of event menager. a: User enter to site > b: Registry by form > c: Thank you page with “check your email for finish your registrion. d: click in link in email and go to registration complet page. And thats all… please help me… 2. I allready done this by myself 3. Ok. i’ll try 4. Ok. i’ll try |
That functionality is not included within Event Espresso, the ‘Not Approved registration’ status is intended for the admin to be able to manually Approved registrations, users can not Approve their own registrations with a link from an email by default. |

Hm, so what if user make mistake and put one bad sign in his email. What if we make a fake thank you website. So user get email with fake ” click link to confirm your reg” link to this fake ty page. Can we change where user go after submit forms ? |
You can activate a higher level of email validation to help prevent errors in the email field submission. You go to Event Espresso > Registration Form > Reg Form settings and change the Email Validation Level to International + DNS Check.
This isn’t actually a feature of Event Espresso, but the registration process can be customized by a third party developer to your specifications. Here’s a list of developers we recommend, you can contact them for a quote. |
