Hi,for a customer Project we get a following Roleconstruct, wich was needed for Customers Business Case. You can see that it was planned to handle with joomla, but we try to work with WordPress (customer has no preferred System). So question was it eventespresso could handle the Roleconstruct wich was written here. Especally for Venue/Location-Managment.Also interesting was the question if it was possible to get professional, paid help from your Team or partners if our internal Team has problems to handle these project with with limited capacity.1.1. Rolesets used on Website for Jevents Parts. The planned roleset has the following structureSystem-Administrator (SA)The SA creates new locations and place Basic-Informations for the Customers (Location Administrator – LA) over the Backend (CRUD). The LA will place later on own Events for theyr assigned Locations. Location Administrator (LA) The LA get’s the account-Data from SA and edits only the Locations he was assigned too (1-n, but normally only one) from SA. For premium Account State are all events shown in an “Coming Events” Sidebar module on start page. So automatically should all Events gets a specific Flag (f.e. over featured) wich handle these seperation. In other event-Lists are all Events (not related to State) shown.EndUser So Question was if these roleset was possible for Event Espresso. And if not, if it was possible to enhance the system over an paid project? Best regards Thomas |
Hi Thomas, These are good questions. Event Espresso has its own Roles/Permissions add-ons that you might be able to build on top of to your customer’s specifications: https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-permissions-basic/ https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-permissions-pro/ The R&P Pro add-on adds the ability to manage by location. There is also a Front end event tool that’s available as a pre-release that allows users to create basic events from the front end of the site, so they do not need to be given specific roles and permissions or visit the dashboard of the site. At this time our developers are focused on building the next version of Event Espresso (4) so our availability to take on custom work is very limited right now. I can refer you to our list of Pros that have experience with customizing Event Espresso: |
