How should I handle people that are signing up for my golf outing by sending in checks without going to the website. I have been adding them manually like they could have done on the site and when I get the check I update them from pending to approved. Just realized that clients are getting the email that they haven’t paid yet and are concerned. How should I be handling this?

Hi there,

So your adding the registration through the front end? If so it will trigger the emails.

You can add the registrations to the event through the admin, and you as the admin have the option to send the messages or not.

Go to Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover ovr event} -> Registrations

At the top you’ll see an ‘Add new registration’ button.

Click that and you’ll see a ticket selector like on the front end, add the registrations using that. On the attendee info step you’ll see the ‘Send Related Messages?’ option, make sure that is UNchecked if you don’t want the emails to send during the initial registration.

Is that what you are looking for?
