We are running summer camps in August. We offer several camps per week. Short of moving each week to its own event, is it possible to group or categorize the event datetimes to they are arranged like this:

– Week 1
– – Option 1
– – Option 2
– Week 2
– – Option 1
– – Option 2

Hi there,

Are you referring to the display of the datetimes, or the display of ticket options?

I did mean datetimes, but it might be nice to arrange tickets in that way as well. Here is a screenshot of how our old system would arrange the options. I could alternatively use the event calendar, but if there is a way to categorize/tag the datetimes, that would make it easier for registrants to not book two camps from the same week, for example.

Hi there,

So within Event Espresso, you have datetimes which are the ‘instance’ of the event and then tickets are assigned to the datetimes, registering onto the ticket gives you access to the datetimes it is assigned to. All of that means users select tickets rather than datetimes as it’s the tickets the users purchase for a specific date(s).

We don’t have a way to categorize datetimes but you can set the ticket selector to be able to filter down the tickets available based on the datetimes a user selects.

Will that work for you?

I’ll add more details on the setup if so but can you link me to your EE event so I can take a look at your ticket setup?
