With a single registrant (one ticket purchased), the registrant is getting the Event Registration Details and Group Event Registration Details emails. I don’t want to disable any of the Registration Approved messages in the event that a user purchases multiple tickets, so is there a way to conditionally send only one email to the registrant if only 1 ticket is purchased?

That said, if you have a developer on your team that has advanced knowledge of the WordPress plugin API and Object Oriented Programming, they could build out a system to temporarily disable the primary registrant message context using the existing filters (and potentially do a pull request for additional filters) for that particular message processing while leaving it intact for others.
