Good day!

I have an event where people choose a several classes from dropdown lists. There are only a finite number of seats for each class. As classes fill up, I want to be able to “gray” them out so they are still visible, but cannot be selected. Is this possible?

Thanks,
Gary

Hi Gary,

Event Espresso doesn’t have this as a feature, but if you are familiar with how to use jQuery to change elements on a web page, that’s something that can be used to make this happen. Are you or someone on your team comfortable with adding and modifying a bit of code into a site specific plugin?

I am reasonably comfortable with adding/modifying code as needed. But I would need something that I can copy-and-paste. I don’t think I could come up with the needed code on my own.

Hi there,

You’ll find the example code along with some instructions on how to flag an option as sold out here:

Fantastic. I will give that a go this weekend. Thank you so much for your quick responses.

Or maybe I’ll just do it right now…WOW! That was easy! Works like a charm. You are the man.
