[GOOGLE_MAP_LINK] – Edit the text

Hello (again)!

When adding [GOOGLE_MAP_LINK] in a ticket, it appears the whole Google Maps link and I would like to show something much shorter like “(See the map)”
How to do it?

Hi Marcos,

You can create your own link using the shortcode:

Edit – The solution posted here was incorrect and will not work, we have an open ticket to include a new shortcode to allow for this.

Update: Event Espresso 4.9.39.p was released today and it includes a new shortcode
[GOOGLE_MAPS_URL]
and this new shortcode will return only the url to the Google map.
