Hello. I need help with setting up the google maps when I create a venue. I did put the API from google maps

Hi there,
Your key is throwing a referrer not allowed error: https://monosnap.com/file/BVLpDJXJ678g86VzTOX6JdLcr1gdx1
https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error
When you created your API key you set a domain on the key so make sure that is using cpraedclass.com and not www.cpraedclass.com or something else.
You do that from here: https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin

Ok I did all that. Now it is just a blank grey space instead of a map. Any ideas what to do ?

This the error being thrown now:
Geocoding Service: You must enable Billing on the Google Cloud Project at https://console.cloud.google.com/project/_/billing/enable Learn more at https://developers.google.com/maps/gmp-get-started
Google maps are no longer free to use so you’ll need to enable billing on your account for it to work, work through the steps here:
https://developers.google.com/maps/gmp-get-started
Once billing has been abled the map should then load.

Thank you for the help! I actually realized that I have another plug-in that some how has a block(WP added one) with “Google Map” and I can use that block code and display in the description of the venue and get free Google map still.

Strange, whilst I’m glad you’ve found a solution the fee for using Google Maps isn’t from us but Google Maps themselves so I can’t think how the above is/will remain free.
The cheapest option Google maps has is for Static maps but even those are $2 per 1000 requests, although it’s free for mobile (see HERE)
