The location map address includes – for me – GB as the ISO code for the country. Is there any way to lose that?
Also, there is no space between the city (‘London’) and that ISO code. Is this because there is no state/province set up? If so, I could change the state to London, but is not having a city going to mess up formatting elsewhere?
No city, London as state, displays as “GB-LND, GB, (postcode)” – no-one in the UK is going to appreciate that. Adding a London borough as the ‘city’ comes up as, say, ‘Lewisham, GB-LND, GB, N16 8NP’.
If you’re insisting on having a state, it needs to be either displayed in full or in the postal abbreviation: ‘Notts’ for ‘Nottinghamshire’, ‘Northants’ for ‘Northamptonshire’ – no, it’s not consistent – and.. ‘London’ for ‘London’.
(Oh, Jersey, Guernsey and Sark aren’t part of the UK. They’re ‘crown dependencies’ with their own ISO codes etc. They’re not in the European Union, for example, either. At least you’ve been saved having to separate out the Scottish ones…)
