Would be interested if you have any idea why the map is staying gray. API is new. Maps java script API and static api is working. Its seems to be tracking the request for the map. Just doesn’t display.

Hi there,
The key/project you are using from Google does not have the Geoencoding API enabled on it.
If you open Chrome Dev Tools (or similar) and check the console you’ll see this error:
js:51 Geocoding Service: This API project is not authorized to use this API. For more information on authentication and Google Maps JavaScript API services please see: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key
You’ll need to enable that API for the map to display.
