We have searched and read through other topics as this, and tried what suggestions you have offered others. But we can NOT get the Google Maps to show in our event- just the grey box.

Hi there,
If you open Chrome Dev Tools (or similar) on the page you’ll see Google is throwing this error:
Geocoding Service: You must enable Billing on the Google Cloud Project at https://console.cloud.google.com/project/_/billing/enable Learn more at https://developers.google.com/maps/gmp-get-started
In short, the Google Maps API service is no longer free, the charge for it based on the number of requests you send which means they need billing to be enabled on your Google account for it to work. The above links should help explain it more, but you need billing enabled on which Google account you used to generate the Google Maps key with.

I just put a static picture in of the google map location, and then put a hyperlink to the active google maps- hope that makes sense. So participants will have to clink on the active hyperlink to go to an active google map. I wasn’t about to pay Google Prices from something we get for free by another link.
