So, I am running a golf tournament, where different sponsors get a certain amount of players.
I used the min/max setup according to the golf tournament support thread had…but i am now realizing that may not work. Or maybe i set it up incorrectly….
In the case of a sponsorship, say a Bronze, where you are allowed 3 players, but we can sell up to 12 bronze sponsorships, how would i determine the correct amount of items sold AND also the correct amount of participants per sponsorship.
Please advise.

Hello,
The minimum and maximum option controls the quantity that is selectable at during registration from the event page. If you need that in groups of 3, then set the maximum and minimum to 3 through the gear icon (advanced settings).
Next, the limit will be how many are available in total so that can be set afterwards and then you can save changes to the event.
Each time a group registers, then the total will be reduced by three and then this will continue until there are no remaining spots.

Hypothetical situation: Gold sponsors get 3 participants. We can sell up to 8 Gold Sponsorship.
Which is correct?
1. Set Minimum to 3, Set Maximum to 3 (in advanced). Then change the QTY to 24.
2. Set Minimum to 3, Set Maximum to 24.
I can’t seem to figure it out.

Sounds like you need this set up:
1. Set Minimum to 3, Set Maximum to 3 (in advanced). Then change the QTY to 24.
THe min and max qty alter the values you can select per registrations in the ticket selector, so as you currently have min and max set to 3 on gold sponsors the user can only select 3 – http://take.ms/nHSYV
So each time a user registers for that that ticket, the total amount of tickets you can see for gold sponsors is 24 (8 x ‘Gold sponsors’ that each get 3 tickets correct?) so qty will be 24.
