I’m also playing around with the ability to send batch email messages to participants for upcoming courses.
Is there a way to include text formatting in the Global email message? Could we create a template that could be used that includes some formatting but that is still editable? How can this be done? We would of course need it to send in HTML and TEXT

Hello,
Plain text emails without any formatting are not currently supported.
If you would like to use some pre-populated information, then you could create a custom newsletter message type ahead of time using the messages editor in Event Espresso –> Messages and then select it when using the batch message feature.
