We direct a charity run and as such, have a number of sponsors who we’ll want to provide x number of free race entries to. We also would like to offer free race entries as door prizes at other events or to special participants. What I’d like to do, is create about 100 unique promo codes that can only be used once for 100% off and we’d print these unique promo codes on special voucher tickets that can be provided to sponsors to hand out or hand out ourselves.
This isn’t possible because there currently is no way to restrict the number of uses of a promo code, right? Do you have any other suggestions on how to give out free registrations?

Ok, I’ve been spinning my wheels on this for some time and right after submitting this came across the use of coupon codes with the Groupon add-on. Thinking this might solve me problem! Maybe.. If you have any advice still, feel free to share!
Yes. That is exactly what I was thinking when reading your first post. I think the groupon/social coupon add-on is what you need to use. It should work perfectly for you if I am understanding your scenario completely. 🙂
Let us know if you have any questions about it.
