Someone registered and bought a ticket. I want to manually register them for a ticket that costs money on the front end, but register them for that ticket at no cost on the back end. For reporting purposes I don’t want that registration to look like I collected money that I did not.

Hi there,

You can’t register someone onto a ticket an set that ticket to free, but you can register them onto the ticket and manually set their registration status to ‘Approved’ (which means they apply to sold values).

The latter means their transaction ill still show as incomplete so it wont show as you’ve taken payment, but because their registration status is Approved, they apply to the event.

Go to Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event} -> Registrations (appears below the event title).

At the top you’ll see a ‘Add new registration’ button.

Click that, select the ticket and register the user.

When finished you’ll be on the edit registration screen, you can set their registration status to Approved there.

Is that what you are looking for?
