Get ticket without paying first

Our organization provides training to the public safety sector. Many attendees register and select the pay by invoice option. This always means their invoice is turned in for their department to pay and the payment is almost always received after our event is over. I would like registrants to be able to receive their ticket regardless of what payment method is selected. Is there a setting to fix this?

Hi Craig,

If you edit the event itself you can select the Default Registration Status, by default this will be ‘Pending Payment’, change it to ‘Approved’.

What that does it make EE automatically Approve any registration onto your event, this means they apply to the ‘sold’ values within the event and all tickets/registration approved messages will sent to the user.

Is that what you are looking for?

Note that each individual events has this option, so if you want it for all the event you’ve already created you will need to change that option for each. You can also set the default value that will be used for any future events you create within:

Event Espresso -> Events -> Default Settings -> Default Registration Status.
