Hello Support, |
Hello Wassim Amer, Just to not cause confusion later on, this plugin is called Event Espresso not Event Expresso (which is another plugin not from ourselves) 🙂
Is this PayPal standard (the user is sent to PayPal to pay) or Pro (user remains on your site to pay)? PayPal will send the user a payment confirmation email with a summary of their payment.
EE3 does not include ‘receipts’ as such, although you can send them an invoice which will show as a balance owed of 0.
As long as you do not delete the attendee from Event Espresso you can do what I mentioned above at any time. Simply find the attendee, the admin can download the invoice and print that off. Would that work? |

Hi Wassim, Event Espresso does not have a specific feature to show HST-based taxes in an event registration email. However, it should be able to meet your other project requirements. Customize the payment received email template From your WP dashboard go to Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Email Settings. You’ll then see something like this: http://cl.ly/image/3x393u1a3g3X By default, a payment confirmation email is sent out after a payment is received. The HST number can be added to that template and the event price is already included in that template. You can click on the custom email tags link to view additional shortcodes that are available. On your second question, here is how I would handle this: Next, go to Event Espresso –> Event Overview. Locate your event and then click on the attendee count link for this event. It will appear in this format: 50/100. This will take you to the attendee list for this specific event. Now locate the specific attendee/registrant in the list. Towards the left side of the screen, you’ll see an actions column. Click on the green icon: http://cl.ly/image/1N1V2k47232t You can then add the payment information, toggle the send payment received notice and then save changes by clicking on the update payment button. Here is how I would resend a receipt: Now locate the specific attendee/registrant in the list. Towards the left side of the screen, you’ll see an actions column. Click on the green icon: http://cl.ly/image/1N1V2k47232t On the same screen, select the template that you created earlier and scroll down and click on Send Invoice. *In this case, it will not send an invoice. Instead it will use the receipt template that you created and send out that message. — |

Hello Lorenzo, |
Hi Wassim, Event Espresso does not have a built-in functionality to send a PDF receipt after a PayPal purchase. An Event Espresso professional will be able to help you customize your site to create this functionality: https://eventespresso.com/developers/event-espresso-pros/ — |
