Hi, we’re using EE for a junior golf tour, and more often then not, parents are registering their kids for the different tournaments (events).

Registration is by age group, so I created three sets of tickets: 11 and under, 12-14, and 15-18. I created a Question Group–Participant Information–that the parent is required to fill out with their kid’s first and last name for the age group (ticket) they’re purchasing.

Now, here’s what I need:

I need to create a list of all the PARTICIPANTS that have a ticket. Right now, it’s only showing the parent’s name, but NOT the info from the Participant Information field that I made required when purchasing each ticket. I don’t need a list of the parents; I need a list of the kids!

Help!

Hi,

This would be easier if instead the parent information was captured as custom questions. As it stands now, your event was set up to capture attendee info using custom questions.

Are you looking to make a list of ticket holders from the CSV report (available from the Event Espresso > Registrations page) or is this a list you want to display on the front end of the site?

If possible I’d like to be able to display the list in the WP backend versus a public page. Now, if a public page or private password protected page is my only option, so be it. We just want to keep track of registrations, see who is registered for what, move them if there’s an error, etc.

What you could do is use the CSV report feature. That will output a list that will include both names in the same row.

Changing the list in the WP backend to include the custom question values can be done, but will require some custom PHP development. You can review Tony’s answer in this other topic which includes some code examples for adding more columns to the Event Espresso > Registrations list table:
