Hi, I added the Events shortcode on my registration page and when I view it, I just see a few sentences from the description cut off with the “View Details” link that takes me to a full page with the ticket selector, etc. Is there a way to make my registration page not show the excerpt but show all of the registration information so people don’t have to click more than once to get to it?
If you go to Event Espresso -> Events -> Templates.
Under the ‘Event List Pages’ section
You’ll find an option ‘Display Description’ which you can set to ‘Full Description’ to show the full content.
You’ll also find various options you can set for what information is shown on the event list, including the ticket selection which allows the user to register directly from the list if needed?
Thanks, I just reset it to full description and it’s still showing just the excerpt. I wonder if maybe I’m using the wrong shortcode? I have [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] on the registration page.
That’s the event list shortcode so if you want to output a list of events that’s what you would use.
Looking at your registration page the output is showing all of the content, not just the excerpt – http://take.ms/06Ne9
Are you wanting all of the other event details to show on the event list? There are options for those in the same location mentioned above.
