I’m currently running on a preproduction server in test mode on WP4.4 to get everything integrated and make the payment process simple & quick for registrants. 2 questions:
Of course, we’re doing responsive design and that’s a factor in all this. My concern is whenever there’s integration, unfortunately it’s challenging to know which entity (EE, Showthemes or Stripe) can actually get through to resolution. Our decision to purchase was based on the theme working with EE4 and Stripe working with EE4. Please advise and thanks in advance 🙂 |
Hello, Information per registrant/attendee is required for each ticket. If you are wanting to charge a fee, then you could set a base ticket as required with a ticket for additional registrants being free. Our Stripe payment method is based on Stripe Checkout so it is responsive and works across various devices such as phones, tablets, notebooks, and desktop computers. The registration flow that you described isn’t currently available. Once you click on the register now button, then attendee/registrant information is collected for all tickets that have been selected for an event. A registrant/attendee would then pay for these via a major credit card and this would be processed via Stripe. — |

How do I set a base ticket price as required with a ticket for additional registrants being free? And also how and where would I add the additional registrants?
How do I modify the layout to include the Stripe Checkout on the /registration-checkout/#checkout page? |
Hi, First, ensure that the Stripe add-on is installed, activated, and that your credentials have been added: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/stripe-payment-gateway/#installation It should then appear as a checkout option with a major credit cards logo. For the tickets, create an event like this: Ticket option 1 – set to required by clicking on the advanced (gear icon) and then placing a checkmark in the required option. You can also set the minimum and maximum to 1. This will allow only one of the required ticket to be purchased at a time. Then create a new ticket that is free. Then save changes to your event. Here is an example of how it may appear: — |
