I’ve spent the better part of the day trying to configure registration for simple classes. Nothing special, 8 classes, each with a single price occuring on a single day.
I think there’s just too many options to make this work for something simple like this. I don’t need visitors to see

Ticket sale dates
none of that!
I want to be able to list the current class date, have it fall off when the event passes, and then be able to add the next class data when it’s schedule.
I’ve looked at Decaf and lite or whatever the scaled down versions are, but I need to be able to have a checkin feature and I need to have support for a payment gateway, not limit it to PayPal.
Any ideas before deleting this plugin and starting over again with something else?
I will give that a try.
Where is the best place to put that CSS? We are using the stock 2012 theme right now but when the design is done, we’ll be switching to a new theme.
Is there anything to be done to make the administration of events simpler? I’m nervous about handing this off to the customer, there’s a lot of options that they’ll have to look past to get to the simple things they need to do.
Your best bet for custom CSS is probably a plugin like My Custom CSS. It keeps it separate so if the theme is updated changes aren’t lost.
There isn’t really a way to simplify the admin, we have tried to make it as easy to use as possible, but Event Espresso has a LOT of options and features.
