I noticed whenever I get an email saying that someone purchased a ticket, it comes from my personal email address and sends to my personal email address. I am assuming people who buy the tickets get an email from my personal email address as well?
I have been trying to fix this, I changed the Primary Contact Email under General Settings to my work email a long time ago, but they still do not send there. Any idea why?
By default the from email will be set as the email address for the event author. This is usually the person that creates and publishes an event in Event Espresso.
You can change it to use the email on the your organization settings page by going to Event Espresso –> Messages. Then look for the Registration Approved message type and click on Event Admin.
Change the shortcode in the from field to this one and save changes:
