Hi,
We have downloaded the french translation files from https://translate.eventespresso.com/projects/event-espresso-4 and placed them in the folder wp-content/uploads/espresso/languages with the names event-espresso-fr_FR.po event-espresso-fr_FR.mo but those new files are not used by Event Espresso. I have checked if the files were not corrupted, I downloaded them twice but no success. This is a fresh install of EE4 4.8.33.
What could be the problem?

Hi Martin,
Could you try adjusting the file names?
event-espresso-fr_FR.po –> event_espresso-fr_FR.po
event-espresso-fr_FR.mo –> event_espresso-fr_FR.mo
