Hi all, currently when the ticket is free and check out, the system will automatically confirm the registration(last step). Is there a way where the user will first directed to a payment method page (with free checkout option if price is 0) and then proceed to confirm registration rather then directly proceed to ticket confirmation?

Hi,
No because if the price is zero there is no need to direct the user to a payment method step, so the payment method step is skipped. If there is a ticket in the cart that has a price, then the payment method step follows the attendee information step.

Is there anyway to disable the step being skipped as some chstomers find it confusing.

No, the payment step isn’t available when the transaction total == zero. If you want to present a payment step, you’ll need to set a price for the ticket.
I’m curious to hear why some customers find it confusing that they don’t select a method of payment when no payment will be made.
