Message:

Hi, Team!

I have a problem downloading the PDF Invoice. Here’s the error message:

FPDF error: Missing or incorrect image file: http://float2nature.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/F2N2013Poster_avatar_edited_logo.jpg

I’ve done some research in order to fix this issue. Here’s my checklist:
1. The image logo format is jpg, not png with alpha layer. I’ve tried to replace the image with other ones but it didn’t solve the problem.
2. I’ve checked the php.ini file in my wp-admin folder, the ‘allow_url_fopen’ is already set to “on”. You can see it via this link: *REDACTED*

Looking forward to hearing from you guys.

Hi,

Another two checks please:

1) Make sure that in the Invoice Settings, the image URL does not have any whitespace/spaces before or after it.

2) go to http://float2nature.com/wp-admin/options.php and look for image_default_link_type and make sure the corresponding value is file screenshot http://take.ms/b3Gyb

1) I’ve rechecked the image URL. No spaces, for sure.
2) I don’t see the word ‘file’ near ‘image_default_link_type’. I can only find one line with the ‘image_default_link_type’:

‘media’ => array( ‘thumbnail_size_w’, ‘thumbnail_size_h’, ‘thumbnail_crop’, ‘medium_size_w’, ‘medium_size_h’, ‘large_size_w’, ‘large_size_h’, ‘image_default_size’, ‘image_default_align’, ‘image_default_link_type’ ),

Hi Meng,

That looks like you a viewing the files code.

If you go to the URL Dean provided you should see something like this http://take.ms/aRUyT

Within that page find ‘image_default_link_type’ and you should find a field the same as the image Dean posted. http://take.ms/b3Gyb

Does the field have ‘file’ within it?

Hi Tony,

So the URL should be http://float2nature.com/wordpress/wp-admin/options.php, then. I have entered ‘file’ (without ”) as the corresponding value. I didn’t know I can access that page, though. I’ve tried again to download the PDF Invoice, but failed. The same error message still appeared:

FPDF error: Missing or incorrect image file: http://float2nature.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/F2N2013Poster_avatar_edited_logo.jpg

Here’s the link to the screenshot of my options.php: https://www.dropbox.com/s/srau6ts5sgljr5c/screenshot.jpg

Well,

You could try setting allow_url_include to On as well.

Also please remove the phpinfo() file you linked earlier from your site when not in use, otherwise it is a possible security risk.

I’ve just done that. Still no good. I’ve never had this kind of problem during my past events. Why is it so hard to fix this?

Hi,

It’s generally either a malformed URL or it is a server issue (which makes it harder to fix).

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level and FTP details are appreciated.

OK, I cannot see any issues with this on your site, so I think you need to refer to your host to make sure that allow_url_fopen is definitely on.
