I’m trying to format the message from the “Automated Upcoming Event Notification” plugin and I’m having a couple of issues:
1. When I copy and paste a list into the body of the email, the list jumps over to the left, beyond the normal left margin of the rest of the message.I want it to line up with everything else.
2. There were two boxes with the contact information on them. I only want one of these. I was able to delete the text inside the box in the sidebar, but I’m not able to delete the actual box with the gray background, so now I have a big empty box where it used to be. I’d like that deleted.
3. I’ve since deleted it, but the default shortcodes with the datetime info in the first paragraph returned a blank result. I’ll just use the info at the bottom, but wanted to let you know (maybe it’s the way my event is set up.)
wrt 1, you could add some inline CSS to the <ol> tag like this: <ol style="margin-left:16px">
Please note you may need to switch to the “Text” tab in the editor to make this edit.
wrt 2 This will require switching to the “Text” tab in the editor as well. You’ll look for an html table that starts with: <table class="social" width="100%">
then you’ll remove any html tags nested within that table and also remove its closing </table> tag.
wrt 3 I checked and I didn’t see any datetime shortcodes in the first paragraph of the default template for the automated upcoming event notification. The datetime shortcodes are usually placed within the [DATETIME_LIST] * section.
