Ever since updating to Event Espresso version 4.10.30.p, registration forms no longer show a message to wait after the submit button is clicked while the submission is in progress. In the past, there used to be such a message with a visual indicator. We tested two registration forms, and no visual indicator appeared for either form. The lack of any indicator leaves the registrant wondering if things are working, and if the registration went through (unless they wait long enough for the congratulations message page to appear.)

Also, our client made several test registrations, which failed consistently after submitting an event registration form (they tried registration both on Windows Chrome and Windows Microsoft Edge 102.0.1245.30.) Only one test registration did go through, but our client didn’t receive an acknowledgment e-mail back.

We wanted to place a text notice at the very top or bottom of the registration form page to alert people to these issues, but there doesn’t seem a way to do this in Event Espresso. A message can only appear in the middle of the form, and any text added also shows an unneeded form element.
