Usually, when this happens it’s due to a theme or plugin conflict, the error you are getting means something is either throwing an error on the login request or something is hijacking the request so EE can no continue.
If you check the sites error logs do you see any errors there when you attempt to log in?
If you don’t see any error you’ll need to test EE without any other plugins activated and confirm if it works then, we have some documentation on the steps you need to take here:
Because you installed decaf first, which setup your message templates for decaf and then saved them to the database.
You need to go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message template -> Receipt
Then click ‘reset templates’ in the sidebar to tell EE to regenerate your messages for whatever version you have right now. The images will then use whatever directory name you have for your current version of EE.
