Fix issue with users slug

Dear Support,

I have came across something odd, which I thought was solved when I opened this topic although I think it’s an issue that happened before I opened this topic.

I have an attendee that have been registered as part of a group of 3, when checking on event espresso I can find the attendee and his registration, although the slug is not just the attendee name and surname but has also a number 2 next to it.

when i check on my user list I can see the same user but the slug in this case has no number next to it, this user/attendee is not receiving any ticket information

I guess that the duplication of users/attendee is due to various account being imported via wordpress imported and/or newsletter subscribers.

I have already added the snippet code on my them function file, but here the issue is how to fix those attendees/users that already have an account?

Do you guys know if there is a way for me to make sure that all the attendees are synced and have a single account within EE and WP ?

Hi Andy,

You should be able to delete the extra contact record and since the email address matches across each registration, the first contact record should match up with the registrations.
