http://www.bnimixer.com – Not sure what to do. Purchased Event Espresso last week, after using the Lite version which I liked. I needed to have multiple tickets. It was working fine as I tested it last week waiting to know what the ticket costs would be. Went and edited that, but nothing listed on the page. Not sure what Im doing wrong, and Im sure Im doing something wrong. Thanks for your help |
Hi there Amy, We can help you get this working. Did you remove the lite version and install the premium version through WordPress? You can check through WP-admin –> WordPress Plugins. — |

Hi Lorenzo, Thanks for your help. Yes, the lite version is not listed in the plug ins. If you need my log in/password let me know how I can send it privately. I also get a message that Event Espresso plug in can be updated, but it fails when I try to update it. Amy |
Hi Amy, I’ve created a new support license key. You can find it in your Event Espresso account: https://eventespresso.com/users/amyparker/ Copy and paste the new key into Event Espresso’s general settings and save changes. You are currently running version 4 of Event Espresso which works differently than version 3. Tickets can be created through the ticket editor: http://cl.ly/image/0O0m2S151C2B Does the image above look familiar? — |

Yes, the image looks very familiar, but I’ve left quantity blank. I just added “100” to each and it still isn’t working. I’ve changed the new key into the general settings. Should I try to update the plug in again? |

Hi Amy, Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this? If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ NOTE: login details need to be Admin level and FTP details are appreciated. |
|
Hi Dean, I sent you the wp log in info. (put Lorenzo as the person helping though). If you need the ftp info, I can get it for you later today. |

Hi Amy, After taking a good look at your site, I think that the main issue is the differences between EE3 and EE4. The first thing that will need to be rectified is the Page called Events. This will need to be removed (even from the trash) or have it’s slug changed from events to something else. This is because EE4 now uses Custom Post Types, so events will be found at http://www.yoursite.com/events. They can’t currently be found there because of that page. You will need to change your permalink settings away from the default, I would recommend the Post option. Also, as the events were imported to EE4 the button you are using to link to the event/s is wrong as it is looking in the wrong place for the wrong event ID (they have changed due to the import). The URL will be one of the following: http://www.yoursite.com/events/event-name either of those should work fine (the first will need the permalinks and page issue mentioned above resolving first though). As to your original query “I needed to have multiple tickets”, it looks like you have already set up multiple tickets within at least one event (the BBQ) so I assume you are ok with this now? If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch. We also have a lot of documentation that can help you navigate EE4 – https://eventespresso.com/support/documentation/versioned-docs/?doc_ver=ee4 |

Hi Dean, I followed your instructions, and changed the events page/slug/name to something other than events (changed to Delete as a name) and still it isn’t working. http://expresstravel4u.com/bnimixer/events/bni-bbq/ ? – nothing there. I am also getting warnings when I go to the “edit” screen of that event, about my license hey being wrong, (Lorenzo set up a new one). Not sure if that has something to do with it or not. There is an automatic update for Event Espresso available but your Site License Key is invalid. Either you have entered the wrong key on the Event Espresso General Settings page (EE3+ users) or Your Organization Settings page (EE4+ users) OR you no longer have access to the updates for this plugin. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now. |
|
Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I have this page still in existence from Event Espresso Lite: http://expresstravel4u.com/bnimixer/event-registration/ |
|
Just put the same key code in and hit save and it turned to green (it was green yesterday, but turned red today) |
|
Should I delete the 3 events, and start over? The 2 old ones from Espresso Lite don’t matter now. The other is easy to create again |
Hi Amy, The support license key should be saved once. I’ve rolled over your existing key and created a new one: https://eventespresso.com/users/amyparker/ I’ve also sent a message privately through our private support tool. Please response directly to that email. — |
