Hi Andy,

I’m not able to access the page in question at the moment. Can you go into the Event Espresso > Registration Form > Settings tab and disable the bot trap options there?

What we’ll need to find out is the JavaScript error that’s happening on the page, that’s what typically triggers the error you saw. Usually it’s a simple fix to a theme file is all that’s needed. We need to find the error first to fix it though.

This looks like a caching issue. I’m getting a different error when I submit the registration form, it’s this one:

An error has occurred:
Your form data could not be applied to any valid registrations.

Usually this is caused by serving the registration form page from a cache. So I checked the http headers and saw this:

easyPress-Cache:HIT

Can you contact your host to see if caching can be disabled for the pages that run Event Espresso’s registration and checkout?

The first name issue is still occurring. This tool shows that the server is nginx which has some built-in caching features:

Did the webhost confirm that caching was turned off?
